I would think has to be a dually on one that long...i have single rear wheels on my f250 and there's no way I'd pull one that big..i pull a 3 h with 8 ft sw and loaded up its at the higher end of its range for safely pulling

I have a 3H 13ft sw 4star(it's heavy) that I was pulling with a 3500 dually. After 4000 miles I was already seeing wear on my front tires. I upgraded to a Dodge 4500. Best idea ever
We have a 3 H with 8 ft short wall and I wouldn't even feel comfortable pulling it (or rather trying to stop it in a hurry) fully loaded with a single axle.
Excuse me for for this... We are not talking about single or double AXLES, we're talking about single rear wheel vs double rear wheels. SRW/DRW. Double rear axle would be like a full sized Freightliner.

I have a 4 horse with a 13 ft. LQ....my husband would never allow me to pull it with anything less than a 1 ton dually...it's not the pulling, it's the stopping that he's concerned with.

BH USA, the heavier pin weights on horse trailers are designed that way for a reason. They are WAY more stable than an RV, which is very important when pulling live weight.
