Psalm 63:2-3 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
We continue to fall in love with Jesus anew each day. His Holy Spirit is inside us, reminding us Of His love, and that love isn't just better than our lives, His love makes our live worth living. His loves makes our lives richer, brighter, deeper, bolder.
Yet despite what His love does for us, we often neglect to glorify Him. Glorifying Jesus is not just thanking Him for the good things He gives us. The first definition of glorify is "to cause to be or treat as being more splendid, excellent, etc, than would normally be considered.
So glorifying Jesus can be saying things to others that life Him up,that give Him splendor and make Him even more excellent. He's already splendid and excellent, but our words our personal relationship, makes Him more splendid in other people's eyes. We can help othes see how awesome He is.
Glorify also means " to honor with praise, admiration, or worship. We should never stop thanking Him and praising Him for what He does for us. We should also praise Him for who he is, His character and majestic qualities. We should praise Him simply because He's awesome.
Father God guide me today to do all things to bring glory and honor to You AMEN
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Look for opportunities to glorify God, because His love makes our lives magnificent.
