| Has anyone ever used of herd of Yunnan Baiyao for bleeders? I see it is sold at big dees. I have heard of a couple people trying it but I'm not sure if its effectiveness has concrete evidence that it helps or works other then user testamonials. Location: Louisiana | I use it. I give one vial the day before, and one vial morning of a run. I also run on 3cc lasix.
My horse bled through the lasix, and instead of increasing the dose my vet suggested the Yunnan Baiyao. So far, he hasn't so much as coughed after a run.
One run I noticed he seemed to be slower recovering and I realized I had forgotten to give it to him. Bad mommy!!
I've always ordered mine through eBay. |

Location: South Central Florida | we have used it. It did not work alone for our bleeder, but we have used it with less lasix and tried it with other combinations of herbs. Yes we gave the little red ball. |

Yea I use it too. Some sources online tell you to save the pills and give them all at once, but they also say to give like 4-5 vials before each run. Only using 2, I just dump it in the feed bucket lol.
This stuff stinks. Just a warning. Your horse may not like it. T-Bo will eat whatever I put in front of him bc he doesn't want the next horse to get it lol. |
