I want to know where you found this. I used to ride in a Billy Cook Fly weight cutting saddle on a BW tree and loved them. Would love to try a BW barrel saddle!

Teskeys. I'm trying to customize a barrel saddle and they got me a little confused lol
I personally don't know of a "Buster Welch Barrel Saddle" ... HOWEVER, there are a couple of Buster Welch TREES that are really good at fitting a variety of horses. Many cutters, reiners, and cow horse people ride in Buster Welch Trees ....

Ahhh its' the tree then. No worries, and yes - generally, those trees are really nice to ride and sit a variety of horses fairly well.
Old friend had a ranch cutter with a buster welch tree in it that fit my mare perfectly.. unfortunately there was none made already and i needed a saddle asap so i ended up with a deb sibley

BarrelRacingChick - 2015-10-19 11:07 PM Ok thanks guys! Would you get a 6 or 7 inch gullet??
Honestly, it depends on the way your horse is built. If there is a saddle maker near you with the BW trees, go have your horse professionally fit, then order your custom saddle. You'll be far happier with the outcome.
