I have a sneaking suspicion that my colt is going to end up too broad and round for my wide fit Jackie treeless. I already moved him up from a regular fit and he's only getting broader.
I haven't ridden in a treed saddle in a few years now but I'm not opposed to them - any recommendations? What's the next step up in wide-ness?

Well you can get Martins that are approximately as wide as a small building. From that angle your horse looks somewhat similar to mine. And after seeing how an 8" Crown C fit my horse last night I'm a little infatuated with them. I daresay even better than my Meleta. For comparison this is Cash wearing the 8" gullet and a 3/4" thick pad.

They are more on the spendy side but Caldwell makes a Maxxed out version. They are pretty wide. I know the can make the maxxed out even wider if you need. My friend ordered one for her big boy.
