Location: North Dakota | Ever since I used my trainer's 6ish years ago I did not like them. I just didn't realize they were filled with literal styrofoam!
The lady who made the video actually has a line of pads though. They're pretty cool except they're 1 1/2" thick which is double the the width of the thickest pad I own.

Location: Missouri | I bought one of those about 6 years ago as a HS graduation present to myself....I was completely disappointed when I received it to say the least. Should've sent it back but didn't. Needless to say it didn't last too long. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I bought one years back, order it from Jeffers or Valley Vet cant remember which one but got it and as soon as I picked it up I knew I was not going to like it it didnt have any weight to it and did use it a few times and it would not stay in place would slide out from under my saddle, it was just junk gave it away to someone that wanted to try it out... |

I'll have to check into those pads, more. There looks to be a lot of fleece, which - when compressed - will take away a lot of thickness.. probably more than the 1" felt pads do.

Location: Fort Worth / Springtown | A lady I knew that was a board memeber (now deceased) told me, one time, that she used to work for/or with CE and said it was bubble wrap inside. I had one about 8 years ago, and it did sound like maybe bubble wrap could be in there. I would think styrofoam wouldn't sound the same, so I would guess they have changed their internal material. I didn't keep it very long - my horse did not like it. |

I picked one up years ago and wondered how anything that felt so flimsy could protect much of anything and thankfully set it back down. But then again, I'm kind of a wool pad kind of girl. |
