I bought a used saddle from them last year. I took my filly up to the store and they kept pulling them out until we found one that fit. Worked well. I don't know if you can do that at a distance?? I don't know that I'd be willing to be constantly shipping saddles back and forth at $50 a pop.

Best BFF bought one brand new through their customer service ... it's a great saddle and she LOVES it! The experience was super positive for her.

I bought my Marlene from Teskeys. They were very nice to work with. I didn't have my horse with me and I was worried about spending that kind of money (saddle was brand new) and it not fitting. They gave me 30 days to try the saddle and decide. Told me if it didn't work that I could bring it back for a full refund or I could bring my horse back with me and I could exchange for another saddle.

cavyrunsbarrels - 2015-10-21 9:10 AM Does anyone know if they take trade ins?
They do accept trade ins...their used saddle inventory is huge.
It's just like any other retail store, they are going to give you a price that they feel they can turn a profit on. You no longer have to do the work to sell your own saddle, so of course you're not going to get what you could sell it for out right. I've swapped a few with them and always felt like I was treated very fairly.

They are great to deal with. I have bought and sold saddles to them. Have always been pretty fair for their trade ins or even when I just outright sold some that I didn't trade in. If it is not a name brand you may not get as much as you like but it's easier than dealing with the general public
