| I know a teenage girl, that is in need of a horse. Her family is in what I believe to be temporary financial distress. I actually don't know them that well, but i am very close with her grandfather. I offered to loan them a horse, to finish the season. Pride, or whatever reason we do silly thing, they don't want to do that. How much would you charge somebody to use a 6-7 year old 2d horse? | |

| around here a half lease (3 days per week) goes for about $150. I pay for hay, shoes, vet, etc. If someone wants a performance half lease it is $300 and they pay for half the shoes, supplements and any maintenance (injections) etc or any vet bills directly caused by them. | |

Omg I've been just lending my 3D gelding out for free and making them pay for all my gas. I should really charge something but how do you go from basically free to asking for money | |

| The mare I leased for 6 years we just had to pay for shoes on, then any hauling charges and some fees if her owner assisted us at shows. Nothing additional, but that is not a normal lease by far. | |
