| It's definitely quiet as of late. Like, really quiet.
Cabin fever in the coming cold months should fix that... |

Location: Northwest Florida | I was on here with a different user name a few years ago and it is much "nicer" now than what I remember! I guess that's what some of ya'll are calling boring lol. I'm surprised by how well everyone seems to get along on the board right now, and how people seem to just choose to agree to disagree. Perhaps I'm just coming back at a good time though, It's much more friendly here than most of the facebook groups I'm in ((and the members of this forum are much more knowledgeable!)) |

I just audited a Kristen Weaver Brown clinic last weekend. It was GREAT! |

Oh yes the knowledge on this site is above and beyond any other site or FB group I'm a member of!
I agree everyone has been "nicer", and there are more posts that actually relate to horse topics of late. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | If you've been gone a year you caught my mare having been diagnosed with kidney and bladder stones but may have missed the ultrasound follow up that found she had passed or dissolved 2 of the kidney stones in her left kidney and the two small stones in her bladder and got the go ahead to have the bladder stone removal the next day. The vets went in thru the urethra and partially broke up a 6.2 cm bladder stone, roughly 2.5 inches or so...got to pick her up about 3 days later with a release to go back to work. Also the follow up scope of her bladder in June that showed both kidney are functioning and the bladder was still free of stones and the lining looked significantly better than during the surgery :-) And all the prayers and information that people shared back and forth for me and my little Warrior Child. |

Location: Deep South | I don't think it's been boring at all. The information I have received over the past year from the people on this forum regarding feed contamination and the epic ionophore issue has been a huge blessing to me and several others I have shared it with that don't visit this site.
If not for BHW, I would never have heard about any of it and my horses would still be eating poison. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Welcome back!! Definitley check into the processed feed mill thread that has been going around. TONS of info on there that has changed my horses lives forever. I've noticed people actually giving real up to date info on clean eating for horses and nutrition instead of trying to push and sell the latest greatest corner cutting products like a few years back. I remember posting about feed and nutrition and clearly having to state at the end that I wasn't interested in whatever people were trying to sell me back then LOL So glad that's changed! (Or that they at least have the decency to PM you instead of stealing your thread to sell something... ) Also, check out the ERA Thread and the Secret Santa Thread, those are always fun. |

Yes! This has been the biggest thing. I was gone for about a year when things were just getting too nasty for my taste and I'm glad I came back in time for the monensin/toxic feed threads. I still have not heard a thing about it on any other forum or fb page! |
