Veteran Posts: 237	Why? I LOVE my Caldwells!! I can't imagine going to Allen Ranch after riding one of the best built saddles . But I have 4 different trees so they Fit the horse I pick to ride. Good luck. PS keep the Caldwell just in case. ??????

Jr. Detective Location: Beggs, OK	The Allen Ranch barrel saddle is MUCH less complicated than a Caldwell. It's a very versatile tree that fits a wide variety of horses. While I loved the quality and comfort of my ProMax, once I made a run in an Allen Ranch there was no doubt that I needed to sell it. Now I have an Allen Ranch on the original tree and the modified cutter that Stanley recently built me. The Allen Ranch saddles are lighter weight and are less restrictive about what horses that they will fit.
