Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | If you are talking about their pads yes I have them and they are great. When I get on the link that you have posted I get a warning about it so not going to try it again. But 5 Star pads are great, we have a BB on here that is a dealing for this company, RockyRoad is her board name. I buy all my 5 Stars from her. |

Weird that the link would say that, but I'll post a picture of it for the people who don't want to click on the link. |

| I would say it a gimmick, as long as 5 star has been around they have been marketing all their pads as self contouring, and they do contour to the shape of the horse.
The thing I would worry about the pad you posted is the felt has no support, so it will be more prone to bunching up, and applying uneven pressure along the spine.

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | All my 5 Stars have spines, I dont think I would like one that dont have a spine like the one you have pictured, I would think it would pull down from the sides without the spine suport. I have I think 7 5 Stars in different thickness and different wear leathers I like them all. And yes they do contour to my horses back..
