My boyfriend put his 87 Chevy K10 front clip on Craigslist. He was asking $350. A guy from a (617) number texted him saying he will send the check for $390 extra $40 to hold. My boyfriend wanted cash, but the guy said he would have it sent by the next day. The guy sends him a tracking number which he never followed, as he thought this guy was just playing around. Well.. the check arrived.. It's a business check from Dallas Texas for A LOT of money. The check has a different name signed on it. For ex: said his name was Marko, but signed it as Polo with different last name. My boyfriend has blew this guys phone up but there is no answer. Looked it up and found out that it's a scam (weird right!?) Luckily we didn't try to do anything with that check. It seems to be happening to A LOT of people recently. Just thought I would let you guys know.
