Good Ole Boys just Fine with Me

Location: SE Missouri | I needed a break from my adult duties so had to jump over here to complain, lol..
I've been avoiding a big expense report for literally MONTHS.. I finally made myself sit down for going on 4 hours now (terrible slow system) and get it done. It sucks, I'd rather have went to barrel race, dentist appointment, clean my house, clean stalls, or literally a billion other things. I'm keeping it mildly entertaining with Pandora Radio and an adult beverage. UGH, so annoying. I need a clone or an assistant that could just do this mess for me. It's the worst thing ever..
Sorry just had to get this off my chest!! I sure hope the rest of BHW is doing something fun.. What's on everyone's schedule for the weekend?

Ill commiserate with you---the week of the 15th (due date of tax return extensions) I was up til at least 3 am each night working on returns, although some mornings it was closer to 5. Some of the late returns were my fault (I'm terrible about putting things off) but then again I have never had as many people bring returns as late as they did this year---had someone bring a farm return in at 5:30 pm on the 14th!! And like you I'd rather have taken a whipping than worked on those dang things. . . . Barn choses would have been like a vacation
Hopefully you'll be done soon and can mark it off your to do list with a red marker---good luck! |

Location: Montana | Well, sorry you have to do that this weekend. Doesn't sound like any fun. I'm making out a Christmas catalog order, and I'm OCD, so I double, triple, quadruple check. So what probably takes other people an hour MAX, I'm at it for a couple of hours making sure I didn't forget anything, making sure everything was added correctly, etc. Really annoying when you are me! |

Location: North Dakota | Well I'm not doing any expense reports but definitely not having any fun. Today I've dedicated my spare time at work (of which I have copious amounts) to learning how to write with my left hand. |

I've always heard industrious folks tried to learn one new thing each day |
