I've been in the real estate industry for 10 years now (not sales), and I'm burned out. I have a degree in Agribusiness and would love be some sort of sales rep., or anything in the ag industry. I just can't keep siting for 8 hours a day. I need to work full time. Thanks |

| Check with the placement officecatvthe college you attended. My neighbor is a country girl but has never really had anything to do with farm animals. She had a neatvjob with Merck. I am sure that she went through the placement office at TAMU to get it. |

I feel your pain and would love to do the same thing. I hope you find something. |

| There are MANY ag based recruiters. Use your google machine and get to it .... They'll help you find a job with the companies they rep. They get paid only if you get hired, so it works in their favor to find the best candidate for the job.
With a background in real estate sales, I'm sure you could do contracts and sales for just about any company with minimal training. Maybe think about what you're passionate about ... animal health, machinery, seeds, plants, soils, equine health, etc and go from there.
Good Luck. |

Next is the health issue of not being active enough. I applaud you for wanting to change. There is nothing worse in life to have to go to a job that you are starting to hate. We need to enjoy life not just endure it. |

What about getting on with an equine/livestock insurance company? Being an insurance agent?
I would just monitor facebook, see who posts what when it comes to sales and see the amount of people drawn to the product. I'm sure PHT and BOT would definitely be something to consider as people are always buying those products. |
