Not gonna lie, I cried.... what a beautiful run race. He left the gate with his ears up and kept them there until it was time to work. I could watch him run all day!

Truly a champion. He has given thoroughbred racing the shot in the arm that it has need for years.

I had the extraordinary privilege of being there with my mother, sister, and family friend today. Here's the video I took of the race (no post parade or post-race festivities, sorry): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=36zgpLbROwI

SUPERHORSE! I'll make a bet it will be a long time (if ever) before we have another Triple Crown winner who wins the Breeders' Cup Classic in the same year.

I wonder if AP will miss his training schedule? He is young, energetic and looks like he loves to run. I know my horses get a bit stir crazy when they aren't being used much. I think they secretly enjoy getting out to do things outside their pasture.

Not to be a damper on this but ... if I owned him; He's done.  He is literally worth MILLIONS and when you have an investment worth that much, you don't turn it into a jumper or barrel horse or whatever else.  He was specifically bred to do just what he did.  He does not need to prove himself in any other arena or competition.

Agree! This boy did what he had to do. Now to enjoy the life of luxury! I'm just thankful I got to see it- First and possibly only one in my lifetime!
