I don't have human kids to go tricker treating with, so I took my horses wine or treating! There is about 10 wineries that open up their trails between them to do a Halloween wine tasting on horseback. There was about 500 horses and lots of fun costumes!
I'm going to try and post a picture from my iPad I hope this works.
Oh my GOSH THAT IS AWESOME! I'm a little jelly. The night before Halloween I had a good nighttime ride in the outdoor arena surrounded by howling coyotes. On Halloween I say on my couch and watched ghost adventures.
I think we rode about 10 miles... They had hitching rails at each winery and then some trailers to tie to... But we did have to sit out and wait at some of the stops... Also your just turned lose on the trails so you could go at any order. They sarted horses going out at 9am with the last horse going out at noon winaries closed at 5:30pm.
There were a lot of people from several states there. I knew of several people that went from my town and I never even saw them... They allowed overnight camping and did live music and a spaghetti feed. I just came in for the day but will plan on camping next year.
