My biggest issue is getting the Child Gone Wild outside to help with the chores that need to be done!
I am blessed and have a lighted arena, but I used to plug in some big lights I picked up at Wal-Mart and ride close to the house. I also have a walker (25 to 30 minutes on teh walker) and if it's wet I put a round pen in the inside of my barn. I have NO EXCUSES, but I still don't get my riding done!

I still try to get some riding time in, but if I can't - walker time works. Not the best, but at least they've had enough exercise they'll be good. Ponying behind a 4 Wheeler works too. I love the 4 Wheeler this time of year. They can work long lines that way.
I just had some lights that were on stands simlilar to this: http://www.contractorsdirect.com/Voltec-1000-watt-Halogen-Tripod-Worklight
