I agree with Plains Horizon. My filly had colic surgery in July, and Plains Horizon handled the claim professionally and promptly. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

But I am partial, I was a customer and lost a horse. Marvin and the claims adjusters were so easy to deal with. I started working there in the office 4 years ago. I now head up the cattle side of the business and am an agent and office manager.
Marvin has established a strong relationship with the carriers, and customers.
As far as the coverages, most companies are pretty comparable. Make sure when you are shopping that they are comparing apples to apples. And that your agent is keeping your best interest in mind, and not just trying to get a higher premuim out of you!
