For those who have had both what are the Pros and Cons of the Iphone?? |

Location: MD | I have always had droid and I just got an IPhone 6 plus and I love it. The screen is so nice. imessage is awesome its instant texting to other Iphone users. Emoji's are great. It's easier to use, droid is similar to a computer and iphone has its own system. |

Location: North Dakota | My hubby has an iPhone as a personal phone and a Droid as his work phone. He absolutely HATES the Droid.
I myself have never owned a Droid (just an iPhone), and maybe it's just what you get used to, but I have a terrible time operating a Droid. Nothing seems to be easy to find or easy to use. Even back when I had a Blackberry (before I got my iPhone), my uncle had gotten a brand new Droid and needed help using it. Even I had a terrible time finding certain settings on it. I didn't like it one bit. And I'm the younger "tech" generation. |

This is how my SO is with my Driod. He has had an Iphone for a couple of years and want to throw my phone across the room when he tries to use it. |

Location: Feeding mosquitos, FL | I went the other way. Had androids for years, switched to the iPhone 6, and then switched back. I didn't have a problem with the phone itself - it was fine. It bothered me that I couldn't send files over bluetooth like I could with the androids. I couldn't customize some of the things that seemed really silly to me (like specific notification sounds for specific apps).
But, the big one was iMessage. I don't have good data coverage in my office for some reason so iMessages wouldn't send while I was at work since they use the data network. Regular plain ol' texts would work fine BUT I couldn't get iMessage to turn off! I would turn it off and it would tell me I couldn't send any kind of message until I turned it back on. Drove me bonkers. I went back to my Galaxy and haven't missed it a bit.
Edit: I FaceTime using my iPad which is really nice.

| I'm getting a new work phone and my personal cell is a Droid. I asked my step-daughter this question as she is a manager for T-Mobile. She told me she LOVES her IPhone but since I am used to the Droid platform, I would probably be happier with a Droid for my work phone. Hubby had Droid, went to an IPhone, then switched back to a Droid - he said he couldn't see his IPhone good enough, (too small). |

| Love My iPhone, I recently got the 6s. It's still super user friendly but you can do so much more on it than any of my friends with droids. Super fast too :)

| I have also had both phones and just ordered 2 new 6S+. The only things I don't like about the I Phones is when you start to dial a number it doesn't take you to a list of matches like the Droid does. That is something I used a lot. Also I thought you could customize the droid a little more to the user. |

Location: East Texas | Had iphone for years and switched to galaxy last year. I will prob not go back to iphone. If you use your phone for work, transferring files, music, etc. Get whatever phone matches your computer. I have a PC so android platform works best for me. As far as apps, etc., they are all about the same. Facetime....well there are a bunch of apps that will let you video chat. |

Location: Idahome | I have always had a Droid, but my mom switched to an Iphone from a droid and hated it. Switched back to a droid and had a horrible time getting things to transfer back over, contacts, pics, would receive texts from certain people, etc. She was on the phone with Verizon for about two weeks to get things fixed. One guy at Verizon said he has that happen all the time and Apple has a way to do this so you get fed up and just stay with the iPhone. I have a iPad to use for work and I don't like it. I use the video chat through Facebook Messanger to talk with my family. |

I got an iPad when I still had a droid. The ease of use made choosing an iPhone for my next upgrade an EASY choice. Never looked back, never will look back! My work phone is an android and I can hardly use it.

did you shut the phone off and turn it back on? It might need to reboot. If not, call the company. |
