For those who are up to date on QH racing ( we have been out of it for 15 years or so) how would a person go about getting a horse qualified to run for the All American? What races does a horse qualifiy in etc....
We have a mare we are going to breed and we are planning to take the resulting foal to the track... Might as well aim big!!
This is the mare, who would you breed her to? Hoping to breed come spring, so we need to get on this. Don't know what our budget will be at this time so throuh out anything you think she would cross good with....

I would go to someone who has alot of success in the barrel arena also so you still have a top prospect when they are done at the track. Dash Ta Fame, Tres Sies, ect.

a whole lot of luck and a whole lot of money. If you start payments at the beginning, the yearling year, it's $3900.00. My long time trainer won it this year. Race horses are a blast! Good luck!

I can't pull the mare up. What did she do on the track? Has she produced anything yet? Who are you going to breed her to? Most of us can't afford what it takes to get to the futurity trials. Sure any horse could win, but you're in a class of horses that have limitless resources.
