I love it....I'm a Renew Gold person all day long..but my broodmares get it starting end of 2nd trimester through weaning so babies learn to eat it with mom and it gets em in peak baby making weight and the calories help with lactation...babies start eating it right away and by the time they are weaned they are eating it great and I keep em on it til they are 1 ish when I switch em to Renew Gold...if they need extra calories I might keep em on it til 1.5 yr but not longer and at reduced amt so I can feed renew gold as main concentrate type feed....i should add they get alfalfa and free choice grass hay with it and by 1 I am supplementing msm on my yearlings to keep epiphysitis away. Only down side to ultium growth is the price tag.
I love it. I fed it a couple yrs ago to my show horse from about long yearling to 2 yr old in the fall. He always looked amazing. I just tried it on my weanlings this yr and they weaned so good. They look fantastic.
Thank you for the feedback! She is two, will be three in May. I just got her, and it seems to have worked great for her so far. I read online you can keep them on it until around 4, but I wasn't sure if that would be over kill. She's looking great, but still has the baby look so a lot of growing left to do. I want her to have everything that she needs, but not over do it either. And yes, the worst part I've found so far is the price tag!
