We are ambassadors for God. he knows we're sinful and we're not perfect, but we're still here to represent Him to others.
We need to be thoughtful of those who don't know Him. We represent Jesus. We don't want to be the ones to give them a bad impression of Jesus. No matter how tired or upset we are, we need to be indulge of nonbelievers, in the same way we'd be considerate of our kids, our boss, and family.
Think of your relationships with nonbelievers in your life. Are you being a good witness of Jesus' love, patience, kindness and sensitivity? Or are you giving them the wrong impression of what a follower of Jesus ought to be? Nonbelievers tend to lump " Christians" together, so how are you breaking a stereotype or showing that not all believers are hypocrites?
Psalm 69:6 Lord, The Lord Almighty, may those who hope in you not be disgraced because of me: God of Israel , may those who seek you not be put to shame because of me.
Pray for Jesus to help you to be more considerate of people He's trying to reach. ask Him to give you His love for them, and pray for the patience(gulp!) and self control you need to serve Jesus when you're with those people.
Father God , Lay Your hand of grace to guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
For it is WITH God all things are possible
