Who has rode in one? How do they sit? Are they as cheap as they look in pics?

I have a friend who has one and she loves it. She did say that you cannot ride in it daily or it will not hold up. She just runs in hers at shows.

Have two of them because I love them so much I wanted one for each of the horses I run.   My horses' backs are never sore and always were before.  I ride better and I ride in them daily and feel that they will up and are made very well.

How does it ride? How deep does it sit you? How do the stirrups hang?

They've been around for awhile. I barely see them anymore.. Seems like a lot of people try them and move on.. I couldnt spend that kind of money on a saddle that's synthetic unless it was gonna gurantee a perfect ride everytime lol

To me they sit and ride like an old original billy cook ... but of course do not hold up like those saddles, and the horn is not as tall. I ride in the 1980's early 90's version billy cooks and have never found a saddle that lets me be as free as those and sits a horse the same, but the Brazilian is pretty darn close, I just did not like the fact that the horn was so low, I would not ride it on a quick horse for this reason, I would fear that I may miss the horn and be dash boarded.

You can't tell by the pictures online.  They are very well made and very durable.  I ride in them every day and they look like new after a couple of years.  AS far as price, I have spent twice the amount on saddles and for one reason or another I don't like them.  Before I decided to try a Brazilian, I shopped around and my friends let me borrow and try every saddle that you can think of.  My saddle of choice has always been Cecil Phillips.  I think the Brazilian saddles are more comfortable and sit me down in the saddle.  The stirrups hang forward but when you first get the saddle it seems that they are more down than forward but then they loosen up.  If you tend to get your feet behind you then you will still be able to but I like more freedom in my stirrups so I can lift my leg over a barrel.  I ride 1D horses and I have never felt more secure.  You can tell in my videos also how much better I ride in these saddles.  To each their own but if you are worried about the saddle winning a beauty contest....it won't!  The first time I ever saw one was at Salinas Rodeo...Fallon was riding in one and I asked her about it.  My first impression was UGLY.  But, I will tell you, after many years of sore backs, this saddle has cured all that.  I also use a BOT thin saddle blanket under my pad.  You can go online and talk to Tiany Schuster.  She is the contact to get one. Good luck!
