Yup, that would be the one! The kid slipped at the first on my good mare and caught it leaving to be a 3. I was pretty stoked for him, but sure wouldn't have minded having been there on her myself! lol |

I'm thinking that I should leave from the BFA and stay in TX for a week, just so that I get to run there. haha |

Location: Texas | Ground was great!!! They started right on time and ran it pretty dang fast. They were dragging every 7 which helped.....and the ground there held fine with 7. We ran a 14.6 and veered way out going to the 3rd barrel.....I gues checking on the tractor to make sure all was good there. Lol!! We'll definitely be back. Too much fun running at Cowtown....just something in the air there. |

I talked to J on his way home last night. I think they're planning to go back this Sunday, as well. |

Location: Aubrey, Texas | If you do decide to drive down from OKC, beware of the construction on I-35 north of Ft.Worth. Traffic is a female dog from about Western Center Blvd. on. There is an alternate route to the Stockyards- take 287/81 west to 156, go south until it runs into (can't remember the name or Hwy.#but it turns into N. Main St.) 156 makes a T and you will turn left- follow that south all the way to Billy Bob's- Look on a map & you will see what I'm talking about. It's the Old Way into Ft. Worth (before I-35) |

Wild West Promotions on Facebook or they also have a website. There's also a Facebook page.....North Texas Upcoming Barrel Races....a lot of different races are posted there.

Tried a new bit and the left shank flipped upside down going to the 2nd....rolled back over it because I couldn't help her at all. :-/ Putting a bit hobble on the **** thing and trying it again next Sunday. It really is a fun place to run. |

Daggum! Sorry to hear that your shank flipped on you! The kid said he wasn't having any fun in the rain, but sure had fun in the pen. Not sure if I'll be able to pry the mare out from under him if I do get out there to run one of these weeks! lol |
