I have a 16 year old mare with a bad stifle and we had it injected last Tuesday. She is just a pet, but needs a joint suppliment. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Your best investment is to do a loading dose of Adequan.  It'll cost about $300, but it lasts longer than anything else, you know that it's going into the horse rather than being spilled on the ground, and it helps to regenerate cartilage.   7 shots over the course of a month and she'll be good to go for up to a year.

She had a cyst in her bone in the stifle so the vet drained it and injected it with depo medrol to see if we could give her some relief. Xray showed her to be bone on bone

I have my old guy (28yo) on actistatin. After I think it was 60 days there was a noticeable difference in his gait. My girls still ride him. I tried taking him off it once, but I won't again. Its pretty remarkable. GLC direct is having a sale this weekend too I believe.

I was having my 25 year old (22 at the time) retired boy injected and then put him on Tight Joints Plus and that is all he needed.  No longer inject and he feels much better and is acting like his naughty, rambunctious self again.  Loved seeing firsthand how that supplement worked.
I would also look into the MagnaCu or CuHorse stifle wraps as well.
Good luck!

Animal Element Performance Detox works wonders on older horses. It gets all of the toxins out of their bodies that they have built up over the years, great for hooves, topline and excellent for joints.

We are currrently having a Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday sale for 30% off all products.

Exceed 6-Way by MVP is the best on the market! An "all-in-one" supplement, it supports six key areas - joints, gastrointestinal, muscle, hoof, digestion, and skin/coat. It has significantly more active ingredients in it than Platinum Performance CJ & Total Control.
In a recent study done on 10 osteoarthritic horses, after a 120 day trial 4 out of the 10 horses went to a zero lameness score after 30 days. 90% showed an average decreased lameness score after thirty days. This trial further supports "seeing & feeling the difference", within a short period of time.
So join the professionals (Martha Josey, Dena Kirkpatrick, Nancy Hunter, Kassidy Dennison, Pete Oen, Sharin Hall) and start your horse on Exceed & take your competition to the next level!
Message me to learn more about an introductory offer if you're interested in getting started on it. (You can buy a 2 month supply $182.50 & get a 1 month supply for free - a $93.90 value!)

Thanks, I have not really sen much of a difference in her since we drained the cyst and injected in. We are just hoping to make her more comfortable.
