I have a 5 year old corona cartel mare. She is very fast with an Si of 105. However she is still very quite and very well minded. I would like to bred her with a stud with bigger bone and thicker chested because she is thin. I would like to bring in some foundation in her colt. We are hoping to get a good barrel horse out of her. Any ideas on a good stud??

My Corona Cartel boys dam was a Mr. Eye Opener daughter. That crossed with the Corona Cartel made the boy I have now and he is super, super quick but quiet mind.

if you want bone, a wide thick chest, and something foundation built with cow/working but still with a good resale. First Down French isnt a bad idea.
He has the 3 things you mentioned and he's an up and comer that people are starting to notice. His foals are jsut hitting this arena and so far are looking good.

Shawnee Bug Leo is pretty dang stout. He was pretty quiet the time I saw him. His babies seem to be doing well and have good resale. I plan a future breeding to him for my racy built mare.
