What about the older dog you posted about recently? She's been on my mind. . .
It came across my Facebook......... I think yesterday....... I can look back if you want. That came from an old highschool friend. They took her to the vet and put her down....
I've had to do this enough times in my life..... I won't have another one.... They take a little piece of my life with them when they go. I really miss having a dog to keep me company..

Her name was Duchess, right? I agree, Komet, if you love them they will break your heart eventually. I can't imagine not having a dog or horse in my life tho. I guess it's better to love them and lose them than to not have them in our lives at all. I'm glad she knew she was loved until the very end, like I'm sure your dogs were: not all four legged kids are that blessed.
