What Name? Posts: 1994	Here I thought my horse had filled out a whole bunch and I measure him for a blanket and he's a 60'...Pony Sized On a side note. In TN who blankets their constant turn out horses? I have a gelding that won't have a shelter this year, and I was thinking I'll blanket him if they threaten ice this year, or really bad rain. There's trees to get out of the worst of it, but he just wont be pampered until next summer when I can get the buildings done. He's never been stalled during winter. Only last year during the worst of the storms. But currently he's at a boarding facility until the end of december. Otherwise they have always been fine (: Ha ha Compact and hardy little thing. I think thats what I'll do. He really is practically a wooley mammoth! Little booger bucked with me Tuesday, I've got a nasty bruised on my thigh from the saddle horn. Though I honestly think he's filled out so much that the saddle bars no longer fit him. Yay me. Good thing I was planning on giving him the winter off. So I'll have time to get a saddle for him.
