| A full set of PHT, BOT, or Ice Vibe? My horses run from April-November and its anywhere from 40-100 degrees in the rodeo season. I want something I can throw on after a run to prevent soreness and make them feel good, and put on a few hours before a run to get things loosened up. Which would you pick? |

I've been scared to use them in the summer after I saw a horse completely decked out in BOT at the trailer in the sun, and when she took them off he was dripping with sweat. |

Location: Gainesville, TX | Love my ice vibes I got for bday. I want a full set of these and then will probably go for some PHT stuff. BOT has its place but usually its just so hot I worry about using them. |

 Own It and Move On
Location: The edge of no where | I really like my ice vibes and BOT stuff. The ice vibes are great after a workout, but you do need to be near a freezer for them. I have the turnout and mesh BOT sheets. I'm going to have the BOT quick wraps next. |

Location: Oklahoma | MagnaCU line by PHT. Although if I were purchasing ice boots, they would be the Ice Horse line instead of Ice Vibe. |

Location: North Dakota | I use draper therapy which is a cheaper version of BOT, with that said-you need to use your head when using it! I love the draper sheet to warm up ours-it seems to get them ready a lot faster than without. My daughters horse gets it on the way to the race and then while she's saddling and riding my horse gets the sheet-it takes a lot less time for them to warm up prerace doing it this way. If it's hot outside-I put them in the shade. I do use it as a cool down sometimes too-it works a lot like a cooler if they are really sweating from working. I also will stand them in the shade if it's over 80 outside. If you've never used the ceramic therapy I would suggest getting something for you to try personnally-I have a shirt, socks and a blanket for myself-it's a great product.
With all of that said-If I could pick I would get a full set of ice vibe-because I already have the draper. Each system has it's place! Heat and ice are the 2 things that help me the most. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | PHT MagnuCue hands down..If you take care of them they will last a long time. With my one horse that likes to rub against stuff, I put a light sheet on him to protect my PHT blanket and I wash it regularly. |
