https://www.facebook.com/eks.equine.services Eberhard is a German guy that I had haul a mare to me in UT from LA. He is located out of Eastern TX. He stops each night and lets the horses out in Layover turnouts, that he has pre-arranged. He stops and brushes the horse out before delivery. He takes super care of the animals he hauls. However, he is a little more expensive and his trips take a little bit longer. I'd use him again in an instant.
Make sure who ever you choose is DOT certified and fully legal to be hauling for hire. If they are not and your horse is insured your insurance will NOT cover anything should an accident happen. Also if the driver gets pulled over and they are not DOT certified and have all necessary requirements met, all horses in the trailer can be impounded. Legal haulers will in turn usually charge more because they have more bills
