I can't get omni cubes in my area. What would be an example feed program similar to omnis? My horses are on free choice grass hay for the winter and will be on pasture in the summer. They don't need any extra weight on them just something to balance out the hay.

Oats, alfalfa cubes and flaxseed. If you ask Tdove he could help you with the percentages, he put them out on here one time. I can't remember them exactly.

For your basic 1,000 lb horse, you could start with 20 lbs alfalfa cubes, 3 lbs oats, and flax seed. I don't mess with flax seed, I just feed 1-2 lbs rice bran.

I give that in addition to free choice hay, but I ride every day. She needs the calories.
It also depends on how good your hay is.
It depends on if your horse is a hard keeper or not.
I've done fine with 12-15 lbs alfalfa and free choice grass hay. Rb and oats stay the same.

I don't add any vitamin supplements. My horse gets nearly unlimited grass hay in addition to 4lbs oats, 6lbs alfalfa pellets, flax supplement, and 1lb Renew Gold daily. The only difference between that and the onmis is that I added the RG and pellets aren't as good as the cubes because the cubes are considered long stem fiber which is better for digestion.
