Location: NE TX | I've been using the gallon Thia-Cal from Finish Line for over a year now and love it but EVERYONE is out of gallons. My local tack store is out, Valley Vet is out, others are as well. I don't wanna keep buying the little small ones cause I feed more than 1oz a day. Is there an alternative? I've tried Silver Lining Herbs and it didn't seem to have an effect on my mare like the b1.
Thanks in advance |

Location: run2win land | I've had great luck with equi-sure. I tried oxygen relax and it helped some but the equi-sure settles the stomach which settled my nervous horse. Side effect was my horse started clocking a half second faster. Seriously, I've seen it do that on others too. |

Location: East Tennessee but who knows?! | Magnesium also helps with calming. I've been feeding Remission because I can get it local and I've been pleased with it. You can also get a magnesium drench. |

I use B1 Crumbles from Jeffers too I used to swear by 707 calming formula but now I'm hooked on B1 Crumbles. My boy likes them better any way. |

I have been using the crumbles for many years, I started to using it on my nervous boy that I used to run barrels on, but then I read how good it was on the muscles and other parts of the horse not just nerves, so I like giving it to all my horses that I have up here at the house. |

I second Magnesium. We use MagRestore and have had great results. |

| I've used MVP Calmex-V on horses that seem to get pretty hot. I have one that gets pretty hot now and don't have her on a daily supplement but use Animal Element's In the Zone before a run and it takes some of the edge off. |

Location: Louisiana | Ok kinda funny story...
A lady came in today looking for a calming supplement for her horse.
I direct her to what small amount of sups we carry and show her the Thia-Cal, I've had some success with it.
She says, "Does it really work?"
Well I saw a difference in my gelding but they're all different... :)
She goes on to tell me about her wild Shetland ponies she bought. A 2 and 3 year old that have never been handled. She turned them out and hasn't been able to touch them since.
I told her no ma'am the sup will not fix that problem lol.
I did give her a few pointers to try with them before she corrals them in the trailer and hauls them to auction. |
