So Ive been asking around but have never really gotten a clear answer. I am trying to decide if I want to Pro Rodeo right after High School or continue on into a Collage Rodeo Team. I could really use some guidenss on this or just your opinion or what you want to do. Thank You!

Each level of rodeo is more and more competitive. I think it depends on you and your horse, but it would probably be a very good experience for you to college rodeo first and then pro rodeo from there if you do well in college rodeo. Pro rodeo is very competitive. So it may be good to see how well you do in the college competition first and see how it goes. Say if you just do amazing in college rodeo first year, you can always then go into pro rodeo thereafter. You will always be able to try to pro rodeo, but you only have a few years to do college rodeo, so that's what I would try first.

I think it is a great idea to college rodeo. Plus, even if you want to experience the pro rodeo atmosphere you can, while being on a college rodeo team. They do not have rodeos scheduled every weekend so it would be easy for you to take off on one week and hit the road just to get a little experience under your belt.

College rodeo for sure. Great experience. And if you do well with it then FOR sure go pro. Its a good stepping stone I think. And you wouldn't be throwing away almost 400 dollars to find out you aren't competitive enought!
