Location: Somewhere around here | Show us (or tell us) what you got for Christmas!!
(I'm going to feel like such a mom right now but...) My mother in law, who I honestly get along with better than my own mom, bought me a new vacuum cleaner!!! Haha I was so excited to unwrap it and I just wanted to go home after that and clean my house! My husband also bought a big present for me (and himself); a new elliptical!! Hahaha no, he doesn't think I need to lose weight. I've been thinking about buying one the past year or so because I love working out on them at gyms and such but since I'm at a stay at home mom now it's difficult to get some working out in my day, plus it's too freezing outside to take the stroller out just to go for a walk! Nothing real horse related this year but hey, my birthday is coming up |

Location: North Dakota | Cool beans! I got a back massager, perfume, and a couple beauty blenders from my family and my BF got me a candle and a couple other horse-themed decorations. It still feels like yesterday that I was a kid getting a million amazing presents. As an adult though, I definitely had much more fun being with my family and meeting my other half's family than I did with the gifts. Still wish I would have asked for a heavy-duty metal tined poo fork though. |

Location: Oklahoma | My mom wrote a cookbook full of family favorite recipes all with a little story about each one. She gave it to my brother and me along with the tools needed to make her famous apple pies. I was shocked and it was hands down the best Christmas present. Then Santa brought the whole family compound bows so we can all start hunting together. My daughter is 8 and that is what she asked for. |

Location: CTX | I got absolutely spoiled this year! Only thing I really asked for was road base, to extend our driveway/park area because every time it rains I could not turn around the trailer. And knowing I could not go anywhere (vet, race etc) was stressing me out big time!! And I got 4 truckloads a week before Christmas. YAY...
Then I got fussed at for not having a list, so had to give him one 4 days before Christmas... but he did great even with almost no time for shopping..... I got a cute bracelet, a yeti tumbler, 2 pair of BOT socks, a BOT mattress overlay (with a bonus fleece blanket, thanks BOT) a new painted pony. And a couple of pocket knives....
I got him 3 very nice button down shirts, a NFR t-shirt, a headset for his game consoles, a BB/pellet gun, a flashlight he can attach to his hat. A cooking thermometer, and a new drill with a couple of implements.
We did talk about not doing any "big" ($25+) presents anymore. It almost gets to be like a competition between us.... "you got me 4 gifts under the tree, so now I need to get 1 more...." And it's not like we don't get whatever we want/need throughout the year anyway. So I am going to work very hard at that next year. Guess that is my new year's resolution for 2016.

Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | I spent way too much money on myself lol. I got a new to me cactus saddle, a new stallion and a Broodie lol... Oh and roof repairs after a wind storm. We don't normally celebrate Christmas at my place because my family always has to work and I live 8 hours away from everyone.

It was a little early, but yes...I consider it my Christmas gift. My husband does spoil me, and still got me a few things for Christmas Day...in all actuality all of those are for her |

Location: White Mountains of AZ | I got way to much!. My bf got me a deep fryer, electric griddle, new bow case with new broadhead tips. Slippers, bathy type stuff. His parents got me a ninja blender thing ( still trying to figure out what to do and how to use it lol) Got my first cookbook and lots of other bathy stuff ( I think for this pregnancy thing I'm going through!). Not to much horsey things, but that's ok for now, since I'm spoiled throughout the year! |
