Superb product.

I had my personal mare and filly on it for the last 4 years - I only switched to THE Muscle Mass as it was getting cost prohibitive in my budget to add ulcer prevent to the Platinum. I seriously love their products and great customer service.

Some horses have issues eating it as it can be bitter. I covered it by mixing really well in soaked alfalfa, 2-3 scoops Platinum in a regular sized Folgers coffee can of alfalfa cubes.

I used it several years ago and really liked it, but it was cost prohibitive for me. I had a mare cut a tendon all most in half and I called Platinum people and they told me how much to feed her. Her prognosis was to be a pature ornament only. We use her to gather cattle in the clear pastures now and she is fine. I used it for her entire healing time.

I  used to use it until I got a new horse and tried it on her and she had an allergic reaction to it. Switched over to THE. Bob created a custom formula based on her bloodwork and it has worked fantastic for years now. I switched all my horses over because I saw better results and it was more affordable.

I put four head on it for three months. Didn't notice anything (coat, hooves, etc)..

Did the math switched to Exceed 6way and am happier. I will say the customer service at Platinum was great, super nice people. I've had the same experience with the United Vet Products so both were great to work with, just better product results for my herd with Exceed6way.

I have had wonderful results with my dog on platinum, she went from needing tramadol for pain management long term to being on the CJ and Comfort and weaned off her pain pills. She not only moves around better, built more muscle mass from being more active, but also seems less depressed. However it didn't work as well for my friends dog. I recently just bought the women's one a day for me. Every professional nrcha trainer I've worked for have their horses on it. My cousin is a vet tech teacher and highly recommended it to me. Only reason my horse isn't on it is price. Yes the people at platinum performance are awesome to work with!

I just started mine on it to help with his skin issues in the summer.  His current skin issue resolved itself before I started him on it, so I'm curious to see how it pans out this summer.  I'm also interested to see if his feet improve.  Otherwise I was already pleased with his coat and body condition.  I'll keep him on it a year and if I don't see improvement I'll take him off it.

I have mine on the Platinum CJ and I LOVE IT!!! I've noticed a difference in his coat, hooves, soundness, weight, and I only feed half the recommended dose. During heavy riding I will bump it to the full dose.

I have my three oldest on the CJ and ran out over the holidays---I can tell a difference since they haven't had any. New container arrives tomorrow!! It is expensive, but so worth it to me. And like everyone mentioned, the folks are great to work with.

I used it on 2 horses and neither got hot. The mare who cut her tendon was on 6 scoops daily and was on stall rest. The other horse got 2 scoops daily and never got hot.

I stopped using Platinum Performance due to the expense.  With several horses, it isn't feasible to use.

Those feeding Platinum CJ - do you also do another joint additive? My horses get Polyglycan every 4 weeks - I am on the Wellness now thinking the CJ is just over doing it, but looking for opinions.

I don't give anything else, as it just gets too dang expensive. I'm usually not one that gives joint supplements orally, but I made an exception with this one and I'm sure glad I did.

I have a theory on that - the supplement may be working so well the horse has a rush of energy that he isn't used to. If you give them several weeks he might return to normal. This has happened to me after sinus surgery. Without the infection to fight my body had extra energy and I felt really, really good for about a month, to the point I was annoying people with my extra energy. However I a month later i still felt good but my energy leveled out and I wasn't looking for something to do at 11 at night.

It did make one of my horses hotter than normal.  I asked a vet and he said it could do that because it has so many vitamins in it.  I haven't had any others have issues.

They probably get hot because they are getting the nutrition they need and feel good!  My horse used to be so lazy and wouldn't EVER rear or buck in turnout.  Now that I injected his SI and addressed his soreness he plays ALL the time in turnout.  It's nice to see him feeling so good!!!

She gets the best nutrition and plays all the time in the pasture we rope off her, day work off her, and rodeo off her, but I have to either whip her right before I go in or breeze her right before I run to get her on the muscle and I hate having to do that. So this was a suggestion I thought was worth checking in to.

Normal maint is 1-2 scoops a day. The day I would make a run, my mare got 3-4 scoops in her morning feed. She would fire stronger, hotter a bit. It really is a great supplement.

My three just get their CJ. They're pleasure horses, not barrel racers, but I can tell a world of difference since starting it.
