I just got my puppy home from the vet after an 8 day hospital stay to treat the dreaded parvo virus! Yay! But he looks so poor. I was wondering about feeding him Forco to help his little guts recover or if there is anything else on the market that could help. Has anyone fed it to their dogs? How much do you feed? Or do you feed some other pre or probiotic?

boiled hamburger and rice with a little salt does a sick belly good. I would put forco in the heading of your title and you will get some responses specific to that.

I'm on my way out the door but when I get back I will post an excellent probiotic that I fed along with FORCO and then just went with FORCO. You need to get probios back in his system as meds kill the bad and good bacteria in the gut. FORCO is a pre-biotic that feeds the good bacteria. The combo is awesome until the gut is back balanced as the FORCO will keep it that way.

I agree with the probios, and you can buy that at walmart in the pet section.

Thanks!
So glad he's better. I'm sure it's been a rough week or so.

Probios are not created equal and you really need to get a good one with what has gone on with your pup.
This is an excellent probiotic and it would be well worth to buy it and give him the whole container. FORCO will give it an extra boost and once you are done with this the FORCO should be a good maintenance for him.

I imported my one Frenchie from Hungary, he came with bad diarrhea, coccidia, then Ghiardia, i put him on pro biotics and now i feed him forco. I believe he has meg esophagus too, so i feed the forco in both his feedings to help him get all the niutrients he needs.

The other product I'd suggest is DigestZen...I think it is a Doterra Essential oil. Used it on my pup when she had a light positive parvo test. She rebounded in about 24 hours.
