Thoughts and opinions on them?
I think they are awesome looking but I can't drop that kind of $ for one!

Location: USA | They are like no other that is for sure. The craftmanship is amazing. They are a very well balanced saddle. Sits you in the middle of your horse. They fit a horse really well. If you ever sit in one you will want one!! Worth the money... They are a lifetime saddle. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | They are excellent and hold their value. If one gets listed for sale, watch and see how long it lasts. There's a reason for that. I've owned four of them, and sold them all because I've found I like cutting saddles better for me, but each of mine sold in a matter of a couple days. |

| If you don't mind me asking, why did you not want to go back to Caldwell? I am currently considering one. |

Location: Desert Land | I went from a Caldwell to a Stoney and then back to a Caldwell. I think the Stoneys are GORGEOUS, but they just don't fit or ride like the Caldwell's do. And I can't believe how much the prices have gone up on his saddles, it's crazy! |

Location: TX | Had a Stoney made, it was beautiful but although the tree was fitted to my horse, it still slid back. Bought a Caldwell Maxxed out, it fit, but had a nail coming through the jockey area and the elk seat was wrinkling. Contacted Charon, she told how much it would cost to send it back along with the return shipping...poor workmanship on a six month old saddle and I have to pay, not happening. Then she told me to take it to any saddle maker and they could fix it, just bad business in my opinion with someone not standing behind their product. So, went back to Larry Coats, he stands behind his saddles, he fitted my horse and we are happy...should have never ventured off!
