A Cool Sharp One
Found out today that I have Deep Vein Thrombosis, I have been in the process of having Sclerotherapy and Laser Treatment for Vericose Veins and my left leg started swelling over the weekend and they did an ultrasound today so we have stopped all treatments. Going to take a baby aspirin a day for a week and then have another ultrasound and then possibly go on blood thinners.
Dr. said I could do all my normal activities, I asked about riding my horse and he said yes.
Has anyone else on here had this and did you have any adverse reactions to riding?

I am sorry you are experiencing this. I know it can be utterly painful. My dad was diagnosed with DVT two summers ago. Once the swelling went down he was fine. Riding does not affect him at all.
