| Leather reins. I like the softer ones, but not too thin. The Rein Man made my last pair-laced with nylon cord (just to make them stand out from other reins),But the nylon does give you a better idea where you want your hands to be. |

Location: Jersey Girl | After years of using braided reins, I find I like leather ones the best. I currently have a pair by the Reinman.
As far as braided reins go....I have tried Gale Beebe (thought they were too light weight) Caroline Bit Co reins (held up well, minimal stretch) and MJ reins (too much stretch for me). |

Location: Northwest | As of now I own four sets of Gale Beebe reins. They are hands down my favorite. The weight of them gives you so much feel and they hold up well. I washed a year old set last week and they came out looking brand new. |

| I got 2 pairs of Gale Beebe reins a couple of months ago and LOVE them! But when I am riding at home in a snaffle or doing some training on young ones, I really like my Stacy Westfall split reins. Nice and heavy duty, with weighted ends to keep them from flying around when you're riding and with buckle ends so they're easy to change out! |
