| I have one i like it on some horses. What are you wanting to get out of it? I used it on a mare who needed some elevation in the shoulders i had the short shank, i rode the mare in an o ring and she really got to nosing out and a little title low headed, i was at a cck clinic she sold me one i see them a lot i think dutton makes them, anytime i need a bit change duttons can tell me what i need and they are usually right on it, very free with there advice, i have bought bits at the congress and brought them back the following year as long as they had the tag and didn't show wear, exchanged them with no problems great to work with call them. |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I am currently using that bit on my mare. She would get really heavy in her front end and fought me a lot. Also had a head shaking issue. This bit really gave her lift and keeps her light in her front wth very little contact. Head shaking also stopped immediately. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | The one I had didn't have enough tongue relief for anything I tried it on. I have an LW version of the same bit and the Mullen mouth on it has more curve to it. |

Room for the tongue under the bit. Mullens are going to have tongue pressure, but the straightness or curve affects how much. |

Location: Beautiful Pacific Northwest | I have both the 5 & the 7. Love both of them & they really do help if you have a gumby horse. Really helped my horse out a lot & he seemed to respond well to the mullen mouth piece. I bought both of mine from Connie's website and no I don't want to sale them :) |

| Will this bit help a horse that is stiff going into the turn (need for lift) but noodly on the back side? My guy can needs a little help when we are at a full run. At home or slow work, I could probably ride him in an S-hack (and have). Add the thrill of competition - a little more is needed. |

I have te short shank and my horse is super sensitive and he likes it. It's almost tooo much bit, so I would imagine a 7" would give you more rate and leverage, it would be way to much for him. |

My horse is like this exactly!! A noodle on the back side!! And it helps tremendously!! Stiffens him up a bit without havig to use a bigger bit. |
