Location: Georgia | I've had my filly on Triple Crown Growth since before she was weaned and she will be 2 in March. I love the stuff but think I'm ready to switch her to a feed that she can stay on for the next few years to get her through her training. Then I can put her a good performance feed when she starts competing. What do you all think is a good feed at this age? Also, are there any supplements you guys recommend as well? |

Location: Comanche, TX | If you are looking for a good feed to develop one on, Juniorglo or Patriot Junior are both great feeds for those young ones coming up. They are labeled to be fed until they are about 3 since they have the higher protein. Or if you want something more long term and feel like she doesnt need the higher protein anymore, the regular Patriot feeds (there is a 12 or 14%) or the Primeglo feed are excellent! |

Location: bring on the heat, NV | Im going to be leaning on Mannapro products this year. I hate the way my colts grew on purina. Safechoice 1 bag out of 6 was not molded to some degree. Ive used mannapro/IFA products with success and the price is good. I have really good hay so my two yo gelding (who is a chunky muscular easy keeper) will probably only see minerals/ ration balancer with that. He is my big "plan" for ranch riding so not really a performance prospect. Ill baby him til 4 yo -5 yo and he many never get grain again.

| Mine eats 8 lbs alfalfa cubes, 3 cubes rice bran, 3 cups whole oats, 2 cups calf manna, 2 scoops platium performance and as much grass hay as he likes per day. He looks amazing and I have had quite a few people approach me to ask what I feed. |
