Regular Posts: 96 Location: Rocky Mountains	Both my mare and the stallion I want to breed to share the same grand sire on the dams side. Opinions? Foal would also have a streak of fling, streakin six, chasin forewater, and fire water flit on the imidiate registration. Back behind the imidiate would include merridock, bugs alive in 75, first down dahs, beduino, dash for cash(multiple times), and easy jet. Just curious if you feel that would effect the value of the foal in a possitive way of a negative. Possible stud prospect but not likely.

The Advice Guru Posts: 6419	If the resulting foal would have the same great grand get, I wouldn't worry about it as it is the last line on the papers, very diluted. If the resulting foal is out of a direct daughter and direct son of dash at fame, I would be looking real hard at the conformation and any flaws as this would be considered line breeding or inbreeding if it goes wrong.

DTF is the most prolific stallion in barrel racing!! The baby will be a tremendous example of specialized barrel horse breeding which takes years to do!! .. And bringing DTF genes from two directions is a solid base!! I have had two tremendous babies double bred to DTF ...
