came home my 6 month filly standing by the gate she had bee n mouthouthing the chain she had the hook caught in her gum i could not see very good as it was dark. i put everything in my hands doown and reached up and pulled it loose. i was just greatfull she did not spook and jump back and tear her mouth. she just went on started eating. i dont know how long she had been there. i an so lucky she has a good head. her daddy a son of corona cartel they say is just like this. sorry no one advertised this guy. i have a nice filly. got color too.

Sounds like you could have had a disaster. It's those small things we don't think about that can be catastrophic. So happy you weren't having to post pics of a gnarled up baby.

We had the same kind of day! SO took his car in to get an oil change(he was early but wanted it done, which was out of character for him. ) They found the sidewall had small cracks getting ready to blow out in two tires, and a nail in a 3rd, these tires were less then a year old!! He was just getting ready to make an 8 hr round trip alone in the snow, ice and sleet...the mechanics had no idea how he didn't have a blow out in one, let alone 3. God works in mysterious ways. So happy your filly is okay!! That could have been a serious disaster!

what i cant believe the end of the small snap was embeded in her lip she let me pull it out, it was dark and she stoud just like she was tied and as calm as she could be, if she had yanked back it would have tore side of her lip up bad.
