HEAVEN. You can spend eternity with God in a place called heaven. David loved God's house because he longed to be in God's presence. A tabernacle is temporary. A hill is permanent. God wants us to dwell in His presence on earth and in eternity.
Christians are a group of people who are exiles on earth and citizens Why would someone want to spend forever in heaven, yet they don't spend time in worship on earth?
I cannot look at my husband and say" I love you" and then not give him my time, energy,and life. Do you love God's presence like David did?
We are called to live upright. It does not mean perfect but blameless. V 2 we are to love our neighbor v 3 we are to carefully choose our friends and keep our word. V4 God's people ar generous with what God has given to them v 5
Psalm 15:1-2 Lord, who may abide in Yyour tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks up rightly, and works righteousness , and speaks the truth in his heart.
Today, take inventory of your walk with the Lord, your words, and your ways. Psalm 15 does not tell us the way to go to heaven but rather the way people should live who are going to heaven.
For it is WITH God all things are possible.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
