| Looking for some feedback from the wonderful horse community...... I am thinking about purchasing an aqua treadmill, I have looked into a couple different models, the aquapacer and the Horse Gym USA Water and Horse Gym USA Spa. Both have their advantages, I currently have my horse at a facility 120 miles away and there is another one about 300 miles away, there seems to be quite a demand for this type of rehabilitation and for getting horses in shape. The lady where I took my horse is constantly booked.
I am wondering what people would think about also purchasing the Horse Gym SPA? It is a cold water, salt water, oxygenated water therapy used to treat injuries, such as tendon injuries and also used to help rejuvinate horses after a stressful ride or lond weekend? Would you be interested in such a thing? Maybe after a long weekend bring your horse out Monday? or after a barrel race bring it out?
I also have an indoor (90x200) and a large outdoor arena that would be available to ride in once up and running, the stalls would be indoor during the cold months heated and also in the nicer months there would be plenty of outdoor stalls.
The Horse Gym Water is a treadmill that uses water to get a horse into shape and also to treat injuries depending on water level. ALso this particular model has a 10 degree incline as an option on it.
I would love people feedback! I apprecaite your response, good and bad! Thank you!!

Location: TN | I have no idea what it costs, but I would love to have access to something like that. I would think local people would be willing to pay to use it if you bought it. |

| Depending where you at it is going to be like any horse facility very
Seasonal. You will be full for 4-5 months and then have a few here and there and 3 months where u have none. I have one and everyone around me wants to put one in... They don't understand the demand it takes unless you higher a staff to run it.... It's like being a dairy farmer always have to be home to take care of them. I am fully booked from January through June. Never full capacity but have some June-August and then don't have any again till January. To be honest if it weren't for my husband and his job we prolly wouldn't be able to keep it up and running.... When ur busy you are tied to it... Then for months you don't have any.
Everyone thinks another close by me could survive but in all honesty it's so seasonal I'm not sure 2 that close could survive. |
