| I'm finally going to be the owner of a Bender daughter!! She is on her way from TX right now. Been years in the waiting but I finally get to add a Bender daughter to my mares. Can't wait to see her in person! She is a full sister to Faith.

| If she is anything like Faith, you are going to LOVE her. I don't know how much of Faith's attitude and disposition are from her genetics and how much is from her health issues and treatment from her less than stellar beginnings, but she is Da Bomb! Sent her to get broke with more confidence than I have these days and the trainer says her biggest problem is that she doesn't want to make a mistake.....ever..... I have been hauling her on Saturdays, to a little jackpot "rodeo" just to expose her and she just takes everything in stride....much better than the unfinished 13 yr old mare who has been going there for years!
I just LOVE her to pieces!!! We are taking the physical stuff a bit slow so that her body can adapt to use. My original hope for her was to get her sound enough to be a light riding horse so that if , for some reason I couldn't feed her, someone else would be willing to. But now, there is a possibility of barrels in her future. And if she doesn't hold up to that, she had a much brighter future than she may have once had. Hubby even likes her so I am hoping that she will inspire him to start riding more often, something he hasn't done much since retiring from picking up and since all of his old pickup horse have passed on.
Right now she is the one horse here that I truly enjoy riding.....no crabby, high strung attitude.
