Help! I am currently living in Washington, my fiance and I are being relocated to Utah because of his company! I was just wondering if you guys knew of any good barrel races or series to run and maybe some trainers and farriers.... I'm already stressed about the move and taking my horses but I figured you guys may know some people :) thank you for looking!

Take a chill pill!! Utah has barrel racing on every corner every town. If you move close to I 15 freeway you can travel up and down it everyday all week long morning noon and night to a barrel to suit your fancy.Some awesome trainers everywhere so you should feel comfortable in who you chose. Look up Nbha. Barrel buddies. American west. Wpra.the list is much longer. Have a safe move.

There is quite a few barrel racing series in Utah. You can run all year long.There are several big added money races. If you are moving to Mt Pleasant there is a new indoor arena there and they have done a barrel series there the last few years. You will also be close to Castle Dale, Price, Delta and to the series in Salina Utah at the Blackhawk arena and also a year round series in Spanish Fork. Mt Pleasant is about an hour and 45 minutes from Salt Lake there are races year round in South Jordan, Ogden and Tremonton. You will be in the center of the state there are races in Cedar City and quite a few in Hurricane. There are several facebook groups too.
