Looking at purchasing a LQ trailer this spring
woo woo!
The one piece I still have to investigate is insurance. The insurance on my current trailer is dirt cheap, but it's not a LQ so I'm expecting to pay more obviously.
how much do you pay per month or per 6 months and through whom? Same provider as you have vehicle policies through? It'll have a lien so I'm prepared for full coverage.

We insured ours for like $130 a year. We went through our auto insurance provider. They classified it as an RV/Camper. It is isnured for the price we paid for it.

Exactly what I did. Just easier to add to that policy.
If it is full living quarters you will have to insure as an rv/camper. Make sure you insure it for the value of it not just what you paid for it. If something happens to it you want to be able to replace it. Be prepared to prove the worth especially if you have a claim. Most insurance companies have rv/camper insurance.
