race horse sires, that have a quiet disposition, quiet and soft work ethic. a quiet disposition, not many querks. looking for sodt and quiet with a lotta run. almost working cowhorse but a racing bloodline with trainability. i see a lot of first down dash, corona cartel grand get, dash for cash, etc.

To tell you the truth there are very few running horse sires that I have worked with that were not kittens..... I can only name the few I would rather shot that walk in a stall with.

I worked with a FANTASTIC producing own son of Mr Jess Perry o/o a Special Effort mare, he's a top leading sire, and a daughter of his just won a Perry GA barrel race this past weekend. But personality is not a strong suit for him. haha Then again, good looks and nice disposition doesn't cash checks.

We currently have about 25 head of granddaughters/sons of Rocket Wrangler and they are very easy to work with and be around.  I just love them! Sure miss our ole Boy Six...

Mr Jess Perry.
My Mr Jess Charger (MJP x Tiny Charger) filly is exactly how you described. I wanted to send her to the track, but I love her too much to let her leave home.

We really like our Mr Jess Perry son and his offspring seem to be really easy and want to work. He is out of a Takin On Cash daughter, and those seem to really do well in the arena.  He seems to be more user friendly than the Corona Cartel horses we have, who are equally as fast just not as easy to deal with.  I am currently seasoning a Kipas Special out of a Lanes Lienster daughter and she is extremely talented and I really enjoy her BUT she is real hot and I could see her getting blown up easily in the wrong hands.

Best Advice is very proven as a racetrack sire and his colts have great dispositions. Check out his Facebook page, there are recent comments from many owners of his colts and all brag about what a great dispositions they have.

I have had a lot of good experiences with sons or daughters of Rare Bar. They are very trainable, want to get in the ground and can flat fly. We stand a young son of his out of his last foal crop: Rare Episode.

somesaid that personality and disposition dont cash checks. the very special 1-d horses the ones that blow the doors off, have to have to be good minded and personality. there is only abput 1 % that can win a barrel race, but the 2 and 3-d horses have to have selling points. when you breed you are taking a chance but if that horse isnt that 1% you have to have a reason that ypou can sell them, a wonderful 2-d horse you can put a child on is worth more than one ypu cant tie to a trailer or walk in a stall with. in fact i am in my 50's i will not own that is not good minded, i dont care if he can win the nfr. this all matters

Oh I agree, I won't have stupid ones either, but I know plenty of 'quirky' horses that have more speed than anyone knows what to do with. All good horses have quirks, some are worse than others. What is a good mind to one person, may not be good minded to another.

Woodbridge, hands down. I can walk right up to him and give him face scratchies even when the mares are walking by, his pen is right next to the mares and new babies. I've had my own Woodbridge foal and have ridden plenty, they're proven on the track and the arena, they're pretty, put together, the whole package.

My friend owns this stallion. He's not been opened up to the public yet. His first foals were born in 2015 and all sold within 30 days of being on the market. 2 were purchased by a race trainer. She held one back but she is now pregnant and I believe wants to sell the yearling because she has 4 mares due to foal in the next couple of months. I have one of his colts that is the most in your pocket kind of guy. Love him

Now for the stallion. He is entered in the BFA futurity for this December. He left the breeding pasture and went straight to a great barrel horse trainer. Who has mares, geldings etc. This stud never once has acted like a stallion, even hauled to exhibitions etc. He is the most kind, easy to handle, gentle, I can't say enough about him. She pasture breeds her mares or can hand breed. He is turned out with the mares that are foaling and will eat out of the same bucket with his foals. I've never seen anything like him.

She has had a couple interested in breeding to him and she probably will this year only if the mare can be live covered. She is not in a position yet to have him stand at a vet or haul for shipping semen. He will go back to the trainer to fine tune, haul and get ready for BFA after breeding season.

He is a gorgeous grey. Stout and probably 15.1 His babies were born broke. Loves people.

Jess Shake Em Up, he is a fantastic sire. I bred one of my mares to him, and got the sweetest baby doll mare. And conformation to boot. There is actually a son out of him standing at stud as well he is appy thoe but I believe double registered, he is proven barrel horse.

I had a 2013 roan filly by him but I sold her as a long yearling . She was the most easy going, laid back baby. Which was odd because her mom was a nut job. But I really loved that filly. Tore me up as I watched her leave in somebody else's trailer.

They are great babys, he is one of those great studs that no one hears about. I sold my filly to Jolene M. about a year & half ago, and sold her to a great family who love her. I wish I could have kept her, I have a friend who has a beautiful paint mare sired by him, also another baby doll with lots of talent. I want more babies out of him !!!! And ypurs being roan makes me droll
