Location: Somewhere around here | As some of you may know, I'm selling my horse who I have been riding for 5 years. He is very free running and since he was my main horse for a long time that's what I've become adjusted to. I rode my husband's horse for a summer in 2014 and he was the complete opposite, ratey and very bendy. Needless to say it was a big difference to me and we didn't do a lot of good patterns that summer lol. Now the ratey horse is going to be my main mount, how can I help myself ride him better? Just go slow until everything is a different muscle memory or is there some tips/tricks I could use (mentally or physically)? |
